The NAHJ Student Bootcamp, in its fifth year, provides an intensive training catered to student journalists entering the field. This event, typically an all-day event prior to conference week, extends over two days to cover more topics in a virtual setting. The bootcamp provides nearly 100 students with training on practical skills like interview best practices, plus tips to make the next right career step such as how to find the right graduate school program or how to maximize an internship experience throughout the job search. This year, students who attend the resume session also have the opportunity to review and improve their resume in one-on-one office hours with a professional.
